Before it can be sold, every one of those stones has to be made — and that happens here, on our own floor.
Every stone we sell passes across our own cutting wheels before it leaves Jaipur. That's not a claim we make lightly — it's the reason a Fine Lapidary parcel arrives ready for setting, not for further work.
More than a hundred cutters and polishers work across our floor, each specialised in the particular demands of one or two species rather than spread thin across all six.

Sorting & Grading
Every parcel starts on the sorting table, long before a wheel is switched on. Rough material is graded by size, color and clarity, and each stone is assigned to the cutter best suited to it. This first decision shapes everything that follows.
Cutting
Each stone is cut to its own plan rather than a fixed template. A cutter reads the rough for its color zoning and inclusions first, then chooses the angles and shape that keep as much fine color and clarity as the material allows.
Polishing
The final stage brings every facet to a true, mirror-clean finish. A stone is checked and rechecked against the wheel until each facet meets its neighbor cleanly — often the difference between a good cut and an exceptional one.
