Business Ethics & Integrity
We deal honestly in the representation of every stone we sell — its species, origin claims, and any treatment it has undergone. We do not knowingly participate in bribery, corruption, or the falsification of documentation, and we expect the same standard from the suppliers and partners we work with.
Human Rights & Labor
Our workshop operates under principles consistent with internationally recognised labor standards:
- No child labor or forced labor, at any point in our operations
- Fair wages and reasonable working hours for our cutters and polishers
- Freedom of association and non-discriminatory treatment
- A safe working environment, described further below
Health & Safety
Cutting and polishing involve real physical risk — dust, machinery, and precision tools. Our workshop maintains protective equipment, trained supervision, and first-aid provision for our team, with the goal of an incident-free floor as a baseline expectation, not an aspiration.
Environmental Management
Lapidary work uses water and energy in the cutting and polishing process, and involves some chemical handling for finishing. We manage water use responsibly, dispose of waste material according to applicable regulations, and look for opportunities to reduce our footprint as our workshop grows.
Product Disclosure & Chain of Custody
We disclose known treatments and, where available, origin information for the stones we sell. Parcels of significance are accompanied by documentation from recognised gemological laboratories. For larger transactions, we apply reasonable know-your-counterparty checks consistent with standard trade practice in the colored gemstone industry.
Grievances & Continuous Improvement
